Your rights over your data
Last updated: 29 June 2026
Your personal data is yours. Under the GDPR you have a set of rights you can exercise at any time. For what we process and why, see our privacy policy.
Who is responsible
Splithaus is operated by Splithaus, CVR no. 40938184. Contact us about your rights at privacy@splithaus.dk.
Your rights
- Access — find out what data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected (most things you can edit yourself in the app).
- Erasure — have your account and personal data deleted ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain cases.
- Portability — receive your data in a common, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not carry out profiling.
How to delete your account
Email privacy@splithaus.dk from your account email and we'll delete your account and personal data. Note: in a shared ledger, entries you created may still form part of the others' accounting — we anonymise your link to them where possible.
How to exercise your rights
Send a request to privacy@splithaus.dk. We'll respond as soon as we can and within one month at the latest. Exercising your rights is free.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark.
